Instead of another happy new year, please, please get a Biblical life this New Year.
If you believe the Word of God to be the highest authority, the world, including those within the church, will ridicule you for being bigoted, patriarchal, and even discriminatory, but living a Biblical life means that you follow the footsteps of Christ. The Church has, and should NEVER be a platform for preaching egalitarianism, women’s rights, social justice, or ANY OTHER agendas of this world. Only the Word of God is to be upheld as the RULE and the STANDARD for ALL Christians, and also proclaimed in churches. All other social consequences are mere byproducts of the Word of God. There is only ONE true version of Christianity, and that is a Biblical Christianity, just as our Lord Jesus Christ had believed and lived in accordance to the Word of God. Fakes are the pastors who has to give apologies for simply believing the Word of God as is, and those who claim to believe in the Word of God and yet deny its relevance and power in our own lives.
1 By the humility and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am “timid” when face to face with you, but “bold” toward you when away! 2 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. 3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete. – 2 Corinthians 10:1-6
18 If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. – John 15:18-21
