I work as a full-time full stack web developer at a medical outreach group, so I guess I enjoy writing code. At the time of this writing, along with many projects I’m wrestling with Angular 2 which doesn’t even have a release version yet. I think I’m developing a love-hate relationship with it.
I’m a kendoka. A novice swimmer who tries to swim every morning. A youth pastor at a local Korean American church, but starting to feel too old to be one. A father to three beautiful children, and a husband blessed with a wife who silently reminds me of Proverbs 31. In the past, I’ve worked as a systems/network engineer, translator, tech support, and stock/forex analyst.
My interests run a gamut enough to label myself as an eclectic autodidact, but core interests orient towards history, philosophy, and languages. At the time of this writing (mid-2016), I’ve just completed various readings and lectures in histories of various ancient civilizations, a lecture on Dialogues by Plato, and in the middle of memorizing 1,000 traditional hanja characters from a children’s curriculum used in the olden days.
