You will waste a countless number of years being with a deceiver who will be manipulative and dishonest, which are warning signs of self-centeredness and disguised pride. A person filled with egocentric pride is typically blind to moral problem of his deceiving ways. When you’re choosing a ministry, don’t give any benefit of doubt about this. The first impression will be right.

…절대로 어떤 수준 에서든 성품이 의심스러운 사람의 아래에 있지 말라. 만약 성품이 있는 교육받지 못한 사역 지도자와 성품이 의심스러운 자칭 교육받은 사역 지도자 중 선택해야 한다면, 항상 전자를 선택하라. 성품이 결함 있는 사람과 함께 있다 보면 수많은 세월을 낭비하게 될 것이다. 그러한 사람은 조작적이고 정직하지 않으며, 이는 자기 중심적이고 교묘히 숨겨진 교만의 경고 신호이다. 교만한 자는 스스로를 보지 못하는 장님이기 때문에 자신의 거짓된 품행이 잘못된 것인지 모른다. 사역을 선택할 때는 의심의 여지를 두지 말라. 첫인상이 대개 맞을 것이다.
